First day of Co-op

Today was my first day of co-op. I kinda missed co-op during the big summer break, but here we are. I taught ukulele to a bunch of little kids, and then I did a science fiction book club. That was interesting, but I will say it was a lot like any other book club. I did like the stories I read in there. We were supposed to read A Martian Odyssey, which I already read before co-op began. I might have to read it again to recap on all the things that happened. Then I ate lunch. We started to set up a Hunger Games RPG, but then it got a little out of hand when more and more people wanted to play, so we called it off. Then I did art class. We did op-art, and I found a really pretty new girl named Isabel. I've got my fingers crossed. After art class, I did computer programming. I'm taking this class so I can figure out how to make a minecraft mod. I'll start simple. I'm going to experiment with a simple mod where you can craft a mob spawner out of iron bars. Then, I'll go a little bit higher. I'll make new items that represent a mob spawner, but they're actually not. When placed, they will generate a mob spawner, but then edit it so that it spawns a specific mob. I'll use different crafting recipes for each mob. For the basic mob spawner, you have a ring of iron bars. For a pig, you'll need an uncooked pork chop to go in the center. For a sheep, you'll need a wool block. For a zombie, you'll need rotten flesh, bones for skeletons, and fish for silverfish (I can't think of anything else). The rest is pretty much self explanatory, but I have run into mobs that don't drop anything, so I devised wolves drop wolf fur, ocelots drop cat fur, and that gets used in the mob spawner. Villagers on the other hand will be spawned using emeralds. Also, bosses will be able to spawn: Dragon egg for Enderdragon, Skeleton head for Wither (or whatever withers will drop). It was a fun day at co-op, and I look forward to next week!

Another day of just mining and crafting. It's a weekend, so I didn't have any school, but still, There's only so much of one thing I can take. I'm gonna spend more time in the pool tomorrow.

I found a jungle temple today (this time on my survival world) I found 6 diamonds, and a bunch of other useless crap. I've also nabbed a bunch of diamonds from the mines, but I haven't found any emeralds, yet. I'm still looking!

SORRY

I keep forgetting to blog! I'm so sorry! Still, ONE POINT THREE CAME OUT AND IT IS SUPER AWESOME!!!!!! I immediately started keeping a journal on my survival world, I found a jungle temple, and I've shared a world with Sadie over the local network! I can't blog now, I'm to busy killing stuff on 1.3.

New Minecraft update!

Sorry I didn't write yesterday. Sadie and I were swimming in the pool, and then mom put us straight to bed. Anyway, I'll try to cover what I did yesterday. I had just found out that Minecraft would get an update today! Minecraft is the unholy offspring of Legos and Dungeons & Dragons. Basically, you collect resources, build stuff, and kill monsters, and it's very addicting. I have it on the computer, the iphone, and the xbox 360. I can't wait to explore the new Minecraft features, but I don't know if dad will let me. He's pretty tight on things like this, and I only get to play Minecraft on the computer every so often (it's this version that'll get updated). I might still get to see Sadie check it out.

A little bit about me

Hi! I'm Benny Netzer. I live in Norfolk VA with my Mom, Dad, and my little sister, Sadie. I just got my new email set up after I lost my old one via the youtube accident. I tried to get a youtube channel, but I admitted I was twelve years old and then google canceled my account. Today is my first day of school, even though it's July 30th. I'm homeschooled, so I don't actually go to school, except my mom  takes her job very seriously. First she wakes me up really early singing this lame song: "Time to wake up! Time to wake up!" over and over again, until I throw myself out of my room screaming at her, and then I go downstairs, make myself some breakfast, and then I have to start my day. Not to brag, but I'm actually academically gifted. To give you an idea, when I was five, I had the academic level of a tenth grader, no lie (yet my schoolwork seems to get more painful and agonizing by the semester). Even though I'm smart though, I suck at social skills, and therefore, I have trouble making friends, and particularly getting girls. Part of starting my blog is that when mom got me a journal, I had a hard time keeping track of it, and also, I have bad handwriting. And also I enjoy being on the computer. Anyway, I'm gonna try to post every day.
